PDF This weekend was the maiden voyage of my igloo cooler converted mash tun. I fitted this big yellow industrial 10 Gallon Igloo cooler with a stainless steel mesh false bottom connected to a 1/2″ stainless steel 3 piece ball valve with a hose barb.
After spending a good 45 minutes getting it to properly seal we were on our way.
*tip – don’t use to much dope on the threads, the tolerance on my ball valve was so fine that only one layer of dope was possible.
