Today after work and after receiving my new 6 Gallon plastic carboy I thought it was time to move my Sunset wheat (batch 5) to a secondary and dry hop it with some full leaf cascade hops (8.5%aa). All in all the process went very smoothly, i was able to suck out pretty much all the wort while not disturbing the trub and yeast cake on the bottom. I took a FG reading and it was at 1.012 which is right where it should be, fermentation is complete so not it’s just about adding some aroma and slight flavor and trying to let some more of the sediment settle out.

Hey Chris,
Just wanted to say hi from another Ludwig. I found your site from homebrewtalk.com and just got into brewing. I find it funny that there’s another Ludwig out there that’s just starting the home brewing adventure as well. I love the glasses by the way, I think I’m going to call my beer ‘Ludwig’s Lager’.

Btw, here are my labels that I’m working with. I haven’t decided which one I like.
