Batch#3 Day1

Batch#3 Evening

YeeHawww!!! I say!
I arrived home to a Hop Krausen all up the side of my carboy neck, bubbling out the top of my airlock. Thankfully it didn’t get clogged with all the hops that were on top of the krausen. I swiftly replaced my airlock with a blow-off tube into sanitized water. THis beer is bubbling away like a puttering engine. A constant swift bubble is flowing out the tube. The beer itself is moving around like crazy. Good stuff!!! Go yeasties!!!

Batch#3 Day1

I awoke to this magnificent creamy off white Krausen. Ahh the sign of happy yeasties, nothing make me happier. My One fear with this batch is that i was able to finally compensate for boil off so my fermenting volume is lose if not more than 5.5gallons, I would say closer to the 6 Gallon mark leaving less head room for the Krausen. This might be the day that upon arriving home I find a stained ceiling. Hopefully not though. :)

I love brewing Beer!
