PDF The beer is getting clearer and is getting a good deep alcohol like smell. The airlock is maintaining a bubble every few minutes and the krausen islands are still floating around but are getting smaller. Sadly most of the wood chips are stuck to the side of the carboy from the first krausen up-roar. I was thinking of trying to knock them off the side with a sanitized spoon but being this is my first go at it, i want to limit the possibility of contamination. So they will remain stuck on the side until cleaning day.
